Prof Zhenjun Ma obtained his BEng and MSc degrees in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, and received his PhD degree in Building Energy Efficiency and Automation from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He worked at Shanghai HITACHI Electrical Appliance Co. as a design engineer from 2004-2005. Before joining University of Wollongong, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Building Services Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Over recent years Zhenjun has been working extensively on energy efficiency and de-carbonization of commercial and office buildings.
