Dr. Zahoor Ali Khan is a globally recognized researcher in wireless technologies, smart systems, and emerging network architectures. Since 2019, he has been consistently listed among the World’s Top 2% Most‑Cited Scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Computer Information Science (CIS) at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), UAE. At HCT, he has held key leadership roles, including Academic Program Chair and Division Chair, leading curriculum development, program quality initiatives, and faculty mentorship, while teaching advanced courses in networking and cybersecurity. His international academic experience includes positions at Dalhousie University, Saint Mary’s University, and King Saud University. With more than two decades of academic, research, and leadership experience across Canada, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, Dr. Khan has published extensively in high‑impact journals and conferences, earning multiple Best Paper Awards and Outstanding Service Awards. His research spans Wireless Sensor Networks, Body Area Networks, Smart Grids, IoT, and e‑Health systems, supported by more than 260 peer‑reviewed publications. His scholarly contributions include journal articles, book chapters, and numerous peer‑reviewed conference papers. His work has appeared in leading international journals, and most of his conference papers have been published through IEEE Xplore, Springer, or Elsevier, indexed by Scopus and the Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index. His latest publications are available on DBLP and Google Scholar. Dr. Khan also serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious journals and is a regular reviewer and organizer for reputable ISI‑indexed journals, IEEE conferences, and international workshops. Dr. Khan holds a PhD and MCSc from Dalhousie University and is a Senior Member of IEEE and IAENG, as well as a Fellow of AdvanceHE (FHEA).
