Y. Al‐Douri

Prof. Dr. Yarub Al-Douri is a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences, Distinguished Fellow of IETI, Fellow of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences and Fellow of Arab Thought Forum. Al-Douri is a winner of the NCPD International Prize 2025, winner of the prestigious Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation 2024 and numerous accolades. Al-Douri is a Professor of Physics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology and Renewable Energy. Al-Douri has worked at NUS (Singapore), TU Chemnitz (Germany), CNRS (France), UM (Malaysia) and University of Sharjah (UAE). He has more than 33 years research experience, 27 years university teaching experience and 13 years administrative experience, and more than 960 publications until now. Al-Douri has high citations and h-index per https://scholar.google.com.my/citations?user=e8RPO28AAAAJ&hl=en. Al-Douri is recognized as one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, USA for six years consecutively since 2020. Al-Douri has initiative MSc program in Nanotechnology Engineering,; Founder of Applied Materials Laboratory (AML); Founder of Nano Computing Laboratory (NCL). He is Associate Editor of Nano-Micro Letters (Springer,Q1,IF=36.3), Editor-in-Chief of Experimental and Theoretical NANOTECHNOLOGY (Scopus-indexed Q3) and Founding Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Nanoelectronics and Materials (IF=0.5). Al-Douri has been granted US$ 5.1M research grants. His research interests are Modeling & Simulation, Semiconductors, Optical properties, Nanoelectronics, Nanomaterials, Renewable Energy and Oxides.
