Xin Wei Wang is a Senior Investigator at the US National Cancer Institute (NCI) where he directs a research lab studying liver cancer. He also serves as Deputy Director of the Center for Cancer Research (CCR) at NCI, Co-Director of the CCR Liver Cancer Program, and Acting Chief of the CCR Laboratory of Human Carcinogenesis. He is a world renowned liver cancer researcher with a special focus on cancer functional genomics. He has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications in these areas. He is frequently invited to give lectures both nationally and internationally, and serves on many scientific committees and editorial boards. He received his PhD degree from New York University School of Medicine.
