Xin Wang is the dean of the Clinical Medical College of Shandong University and the director of the Hematology Department of Shandong provincial hospital. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine degree from Shandong University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. She has accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis of leukemia, lymphoma and the comprehensive treatment of chemotherapy, biological immunity and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Her research interests include the diagnosis and treatment of various anemia, leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, lymphoma, myeloma, myeloproliferative diseases, and platelet and coagulation diseases. She is a member of the American hematology Association ASH and has won two Australian medical research awards as the subject leader, one North American International SGI outstanding research award, one first prize of Shandong provincial scientific and technological progress award, and one-second prize of Shandong provincial scientific and technological progress award.
