V. Sola

I’m an experimental physicist, working in the field of high-energy particle physics. I have worked at the HERA ep collider at DESY and now I am a member of the CMS Collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider. Presently, I am involved in the development of new silicon sensors, and in the design and construction of the MIP Timing Detector for the CMS Experiment. I'm the Principal Investigator of projects to develop thin silicon sensors for extreme fluences (eXFlu – INFN, eXFlu-innova – AIDAinnova, FLEX – UNITO, ComonSens – PRIN MUR, CompleX – ERC Consolidator Grant).
