Ulysses Paulino Albuquerque

Ulysses Paulino de Albuquerque is graduate at Biological Sciences from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Master and Phd at Plant Biology from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Currently he is full professor of Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (Pernambuco, Northeastern Brazil) where he coordinates the Laboratory of Ecology and Evolution of Social-Ecological Systems and teaches for graduation and pos-graduation. He was presidente of the Brazilian Society of Ethnobiology and Ethnoecology (2005-2008). He acts in the areas of ecological anthropology, human ecology, ethnobiology, biodiversity conservation, evolutionary psychology. He has a special interest to the comprehension of the factors that modulate the relation between people and natural resources on the interface of ecology and evolutive processes.
