Tomas Balezentis is a Professorial Research Fellow at Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences and a Professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. He holds PhD degree from University of Copenhagen. He has received Lithuanian National Scientific Prize. His research focuses on efficiency and productivity analysis, agricultural economics and energy economics. He has published in such outlets as Energy Economics, Energy Policy, China Economic Review and European Journal of Operational Research among others.
