Thor Edvardsen

Thor Edvardsen is Professor at the Dept. of Cardiology, Oslo University Hospital and the University of Oslo. The Dept. of Cardiology in Oslo University Hospital is the largest cardiology department in the Nordic countries. Edvardsen has published more than 400 international scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. His H-index at Web of Science, Clarivate is 93 and his average impact factor per paper is 9.7. He has supervised 31 candidates to complete their PhD degree. He was elected as the President of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) from 2018 -2020. He was working at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2003-4. Edvardsen has extensive knowledge of echocardiography, CMR, CT and hemodynamics.
