Tammy Hoffmann

Professor Tammy Hoffmann (OAM, FAAHMS) is Professor of Clinical Epidemiology and NHMRC Leadership Fellow at the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare at Bond University (Australia), where she directs the Centre for Evidence-Informed Health Decisions (iebh.bond.edu.au/). She is also Director of the Australasian EQUATOR Centre; Chair of the Australian Shared Decision Making Network; a Member of the NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee, Deputy Chair of the NHMRC ME/CFS Clinical Guidelines Committee, the Steering Group of the Australian Reproducibility Network; and a Research Editorial Advisor for BMJ. Tammy’s main research and teaching interests are in shared decision making; evidence-based healthcare; evidence implementation; and enhancing the value, transparency, and usability of research (such as through better reporting of research - she is lead author of the TIDieR Checklist and reporting guideline, and co-author of PRISMA 2020, CONSORT 2025, and SPIRIT 2025).
