Dr. Shahab Uddin is a Principal Research Scientist, and Head of the Molecular Pathophysiology core facility at Translational Research Institute, Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar. He is also affiliated as a Professor of Cancer Biology at the Laboratory of Animal Research, Qatar University. The main focus of Dr. Shahab’s research is to identify and characterize the dysregulated signaling pathways involved in the development of human diseases, especially cancer. He has published more than 300 peer-reviewed research papers. Dr. Shahab leads a group of researchers that will support HMC physicians in translational research.
