Sachio Fushida, holder of M.D. and Ph.D. degrees, is an associate professor at the Division of Gastroenterological Surgery, Graduate School of Medical Science, Kanazawa University in Kanazawa, Japan, and has published more than 120 articles. Sachio Fushida’s research interests focused on the identification of the disease–specific microenvironment, cell biology, and immunology, to develop novel therapeutic strategies and biomarkers for cancers, especially digestive tract malignancies, such as gastric cancer, or peritoneal surface seeding, while also covers clinical researches and surgery in GI cancer.
