I am participating very actively in the EventIndex project for the ATLAS experiment, which is a new metadata catalogue at event level which tries to exploit emerging NoSQL technologies such as Hadoop which are being used widely in Internet by big actors like Google, Facebook, and others very successfully. I am involved in the development of the Producer/Consumer architecture, to convey the ATLAS EventIndex records of all events processed by ATLAS, in all processing stages, from the running jobs at Tier-0 or on the Grid through the messaging system to the Hadoop server. I have presented this work in several international conferences (ICHEP14, CHEP15) and workshops. I am one of the main responsible of the Distributed Spanish ATLAS Tier-2 (since 2001). I have worked and am working to build, maintain and operate a Tier-2 Grid computing infrastructure for experimental data analysis and Monte Carlo event generation for the ATLAS experiment. The size of this infrastructure must fulfil de 5% of the total ATLAS Tier-2 installations. The infrastructure is integrated in the LHC Computing Grid following the Computing Model of the ATLAS Collaboration, which is being update to face up to the requirement of each Run (currently, Run-2). This Tier-2 has been developed in a distributed manner shared by the 3 Spanish institutes, IFIC-Valencia, IFAE-Barcelona and UAM-Madrid.
