Richard E. Pratley

Dr. Richard Pratley is Senior Investigator and Diabetes Program Lead at the AdventHealth Translational Research Institute (TRI), and Medical Director at the AdventHealth Diabetes Institute (AHDI). He regularly presents at national and international meetings, has written over 280 peer-reviewed articles and is a Principal Investigator for both NIH and pharmaceutical company sponsored trials in diabetes and obesity. He is board certified in internal medicine, received his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, and completed fellowships in geriatric medicine and gerontology at the University of Michigan, John Hopkins University, and the National Institute on Aging.
