Holding an extensive ‘Research & Teaching’ experience of nearly 25 years in the field of agri-food technology, with expertise focusing mainly on ‘Sustainable Food Production’ and ‘Food Security.’ Research interest revolves around Innovative Food Processing & Preservation Technologies, (Quality and Safety); Valorization technologies; Circular bio-economy and green deal concepts; and Developing Novel Food Products/ Designer Foods. Besides, have rich experience of working in India, South Korea, Malaysia, Germany, Fiji Islands, and now in Estonia. To date, have published nearly 300 research articles in ISI-based journals and as refereed book chapters; have edited 13 books and authored one book. Also, have been on the editorial board of leading international journals and the scientific committee/advisory board member/invited speaker in various international conferences/symposiums/workshops. A recipient of several prestigious international awards and recognition conferred by various institutions of higher learning and research establishments.
