B.Sc. in Astronomy (2002) and PhD in Physics (2007) from UFRJ. Senior Technologist at CTI Renato Archer. Member of large sky surveys, such as the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (III and IV) and the Dark Energy Survey, where he is one of the coordinators of the Galaxy and Quasar Evolution Working Group. With extensive experience in large-volume data analysis, I created a scientific computing course in the postgraduate program in astronomy at the National Observatory in 2013, in addition to participating in and coordinating data science hackathons. Specialized in the formation and evolution of galaxies and their clusters, he is a co-author of hundreds of scientific articles. Active in scientific outreach with texts, videos, live broadcasts with millions of views, interviews, science fairs, and visits to schools. He participated in the narration of the innovative planetarium session, "Tour of the Solar System", in Portuguese, by AudioUniverse.
