Phatiphat Thounthong

Dr.Phatiphat THOUNTHONG received the B.S.and M.E. degrees in electrical engineering from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology North Bangkok (KMITNB), Bangkok, Thailand, in 1996 and 2001, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine (INPL)-Université de Lorraine, Nancy-Lorraine, France, in 2005. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in Department of Teacher Training in Electrical Engineering, and also a Deputy Director for Research Promotion and Innovation, Science and Technology Research Institute (STRI), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. After finished his Ph.D thesis in France, he has worked on the renewable energy applications: fuel cells, photovoltaic, and wind turbine, and also on the energy storage devices: supercapacitor and Li-Ion battery. He dedicates to teaching and research works. He has published at least 14 papers of IEEE Transactions and Magazines and 36 papers of IEEE conferences, with h-index = 14.
