I am a Professor of Global Health at University of Oxford and the Head of Bioethics & Engagement at the Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) Tropical Network, which is part of Nuffield Department of Medicine. I am leading an international team of 18-20 people based in UK (Oxford), Thailand and Cambodia. I am responsible for the strategic design, planning, implementation, and raising external funding for the network-wide ethics and engagement programme. My research interests are ethical issues arising when conducting health research in low-resource settings, data ethics and ethics of antimicrobial resistance. I also facilitate community and public engagement projects across the MORU network and conduct research on engagement.
