Over my 30-year career, I have made sophisticated contributions in the fields of systems and control, automation, and robotics. I have worked with my team members and collaborators to build up significant fundamental pillars of advanced control theory and then demonstrated their feasibility in numerous interdisciplinary applications to cyber-physical systems, human-machine collaboration, network systems, autonomous and robotic systems, and artificial intelligent systems.
My track record demonstrates sustained high productivity, while my increasing trajectory of citations in recent years reflects future potential for continued ground-breaking research. I am a Highly Cited Researcher in both Engineering and Computer Science (2014 to present). I have published 25 research monographs (Springer and Wiley), 500+ journal articles (300+ JCR Q1 journals), 250+ peer-reviewed conference papers, 20 edited journal special issues, and 5 book chapters. My work has generated 74,000+ citations and an h-index of 149 (Google Scholar). Of note, 159 of my published articles are/were Highly Cited Papers (ESI 1%), and 25 are/were Hot Papers (ESI 0.1%).
