Dr. Oliver Kepp studied biology at the Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany) and received a Ph.D. in molecular biology for his work on host cell apoptosis during bacterial infection at the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology (Berlin, Germany). Following he received a Max Planck postdoctoral research fellowship and in 2007 joined the INSERM team UMR1138 directed by Dr. Guido Kroemer at the Cordeliers Research Center in Paris, France as an EMBO postdoc fellow. He now is an associate professor (DR2) at the institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale (INSERM, Paris, France) and director of the BioCell automation platform at the Gustave Roussy Cancer Center (Villejuif, France). He investigates several aspects of immunogenic cell death, focusing on systems biology approaches. Oliver published more than 300 scientific articles and is a member of several editorial boards. He is an associate director of the European academy of tumor immunology and a cofounder of Samsara therapeutics.
