Full professor since 2007 at the Condensed Matter Physics Department of the UAM and senior associate researcher at IMDEA-nanoscience. Well-known for his pioneering work in quantum transport and forces in atomic-sized contacts and atomic chains. Presently focusing in single-molecule transport measurements (conductance, vibrational spectroscopy, thermopower).
