Prof. Zafar completed his Ph.D. at Nottingham Trent University (2011) and MSc at Queen Mary University of London (2007), UK. Prof. Zafar has vast teaching experience and a track record of academic research in the field of dentistry, working in various places (UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, and Pakistan). Prof. Zafar has several professional memberships/fellowships including the Higher Education Academy, (FHEA), Faculty of Dental Trainers, (FDTFEd), and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK (MFDSRCPSG). Prof. Zafar has authored several articles, books, book chapters, and his research interests include collaborative research at the interface of clinical dentistry, oral health, regenerative medicine, and advanced biomaterials for clinical dental applications.
