(born June 11, 1971) received my M.Sc. (1996) and PhD (2000) degrees in electrochemistry and corrosion at Ain Shams University (Cairo, Egypt). My major fields of interest are: Corrosion, Surface nanostructuring, Electrocatalysis, Biosensors, and Hydrogen energy. I published more than 200 articles in ISI journals. The current Google scholar and h-index scores are 7624 and 42 (till Sept., 26, 2022). I gained several scientific awards: National Encourage Prize (2006) - Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Ammar Prize in Corrosion (2008) - TWAS Prize (2009) - Google Scholar Citation Prize (Taif Univ.: 2011-2014) - Distinguishable Researcher (Taif Univ.: 2012). Current job: Professor of physical chemistry at Taif University (Saudi Arabia). Permanent job: Professor of physical chemistry at Ain Shams University (Cairo, Egypt). He acted as a Guest Associate Editor for Electrochemistry, Frontiers in Chemistry (IF 3.994): Research Topic: Advanced Carbon Nanostructure Based Electrocatalytic Systems for Energy and Environmental Applications.
