A Professor of Agronomy at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. My main interest is to teach my students and inspire them for better learning and doing high-quality research through the proper use of our limited facilities and resources. My research areas include Plant Stress Physiology, Agronomy, Climate Change, and Sustainable Agriculture. My current work is focused on the physiological and molecular mechanisms of environmental stress tolerance (salinity, drought, flood, and heavy metals/metalloids).
