Michael S. Turner

Michael Turner MBBS, MD, FFSEM is the CEO and Medical Director of the International Concussion and Head Injury Research Foundation (ICHIRF). He was formerly the Chief Medical Adviser (CMA) to the Lawn Tennis Association (1994-2014), CMA to the British Horseracing Authority (1992-2013) and CMA to the British Ski Federation (1975-2000). He was Director of Medical Services at the British Olympic Association and Team GB Medical Officer at Calgary, Albertville and Lillehammer Winter Olympic Games. His particular areas of interest are safety in high risk sports, protective equipment in sport, child protection, concussion and doping control.
