Main research interest: Link between nutrition and healthy aging. Projects include e.g. investigation of molecular mechanisms and pathways leading to neurodegenerative diseases and the impact of nutrients in these processes. Methods comprise molecular biology, biochemical assays, enzymatic assays, lipid analytics, mass spectrometry, protein and cell biology, lipid protein interactions.
