Li Song received his PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After one and a half years as a Humboldt fellow at University of Munich, he spent three years as a postdoctoral researcher at Rice University. In 2011, he became an associate professor at Shinshu University in Japan. He was promoted to professor at the University of Science and Technology of China in 2012. His research interests include synchrotron radiation-based techniques and their applications for energy nanomaterials and multifunctional nanodevices.
