As Chair of the Computer Science Department, he successfully established the IT department from the ground up. He led the development of modern, industry-aligned academic programs, mentored faculty, built high-performing research teams, and significantly increased student enrollment. His leadership has fostered sustainable academic excellence and positioned his institution as a hub for AI advancement. Khaled’s research spans core AI areas including machine learning, intelligent systems, knowledge engineering, and real-world AI applications. He has published extensively in reputable international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. His work is known for its rigor, originality, and practical impact, contributing to interdisciplinary solutions across domains.
