John G. Laffey

John Laffey is Professor of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at the University of Galway and Galway University Hospitals in Galway, Ireland. He is chair of the research committee at the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, and senior pulmonary editor at Intensive Care Medicine Experimental. He is a member of the Royal Irish Academy. He has published more than 400 papers and was joint Chief Investigator of the LUNG SAFE And WEAN SAFE studies.
