Jigang Zhou

As a staff researcher at GM BRD, Jigang Zhou focuses on battery characterization to guide rational design and manufacture of next generation batteries for EV and energy storage, and has achieved a high level of notoriety with recognitions such as world top 2% scientist (Stanford University) and highly cited researcher (Clarivate). Jigang has academic training in characterization (PhD at Western University Canada) and battery engineering (BE and MS at Harbin Institute of Technology). He also has strong hands on experience in battery R&D (7 years in manufacture) and battery characterization (16 years in national lab).
