Jie Zhang

Dr. Jie Zhang is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Chemistry, Monash University and a Chief Investigator at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Electromaterials Science. His current research mainly focuses on the electrochemical activation of small molecules for energy applications and the development of intelligent analysis methods for electrochemical data. Dr. Zhang obtained his PhD degree in electrochemistry in 2002 at the University of Warwick, UK. He was awarded two medals from both the Electrochemistry Division and the Analytical and Environmental Chemistry Division of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute for his contributions to electrochemistry and analytical chemistry. Dr. Zhang is also a recipient of the Monash Research Accelerator award (2013-2014).
