He has worked on detector development, operations and data analysis for experiment at ep, e+e-, and pp colliders, on muon precision experiments at PSI and on searches for Dark Matter. He was part of the team that built the ATLAS detector at CERN and was one of the analysts working on the search for and the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012. He currently leads the UK participation in the Mu3e experiment at PSI, for which he manages the construction of the CMOS pixel tracker. He is a member of the muon EDM collaboration at PSI and he also leads the manufacture in the UK of SiPM tiles for the VETO detector of the Darkside20k dark matter search experiment at Gran Sasso in Italy.
