I am associate professor at University of Granada (Spain) and associate researcher at IAA-CSIC. I investigate stellar structure and evolution through asteroseismology and its impact on planetary dynamics.
I got my PhD in Paris 7 University and Paris Observatory (France). Then I have held several post-doc postions at IAA-CSIC in Granada (Spain), and recently I got a Ramón y Cajal fellowship by the Spanish MINECO.
I am board member of the PLATO2.0 space project, selected by ESA as the next M3 mission (2024). I am coordinator of the PLATO2.0 MEU design and construction activities, and of two its scientific work packages
