简介
I am a Full Professor of Relativistic Astrophysics at the National University of La Plata and a Senior Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET). A former president of the Argentine Astronomical Society, I currently serve as the director of the Argentine Institute for Radio Astronomy (IAR). I have published more than 450 papers on astrophysics, gravitation, the foundations of physics, and philosophy, as well as 12 books. My main current research interests focus on black hole physics, gamma-ray astrophysics, and the ontological problems of spacetime theories.
I lead the GARRA research group, which comprises more than 20 members, and I direct several research projects. To date, I have supervised 20 PhD dissertations and double that number of master's theses.
