Mr. Ferry is a faculty member the department of community health nursing, faculty of nursing at Airlangga University in Surabaya, Indonesia. He holds PhD in nursing which focusing on Indonesian nurses migration. In addition, he also had been involved in various projects within the area of Human Resources for Health at the Ministry of Health of Indonesia. His research interests include: Health Policy, Community Health, Maternal and Child Health, and Nurse Migration.
