Dr. Fadl A. Essa is an accomplished Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering with over 15 years of experience in research, teaching, and industry applications, specializing in renewable energy systems, water desalination, and sustainable energy development. His expertise lies in enhancing the performance of solar stills, thermal desalination systems, and nanofluid applications, with a focus on innovative designs and materials to improve energy efficiency and water productivity.
As a prolific researcher, Dr. Essa has authored or co-authored over 184+ journal papers, accumulating more than 13,000 citations, and holds an H-index of 69 (Google Scholar). He has successfully led and contributed to numerous research projects funded by prestigious organizations, including the Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) of Egypt.
