Eliana B. Souto is a Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Engineering, UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering, University College Dublin, Ireland. Professor Souto is graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Coimbra and holds a Masters’ degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from University of Porto, Portugal. She received her PhD in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology and Biopharmaceutics from Free University of Berlin, Germany. Professor Souto works in Drug Delivery and was ranked by Clarivate as a highly cited researcher in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. She is a Member of the Royal Academy of Pharmacy of Catalonia, Spain.
