Eduarda Fernandes

Eduarda Fernandes, PharmD (1991), PhD (1996), is Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Applied Chemistry, Department of Chemical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Porto (FFUP), and researcher of the Portuguese Research Centre for Sustainable Chemistry (LAQV) at REQUIMTE, Portugal. In 2002, she created a research unit within LAQV-REQUIMTE focused on the development and application of methodologies for the in vitro study of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic properties of natural and synthetic compounds, in non-cellular and cellular models, (Free Radicals and Antioxidants Unit - FRAU), which she has been coordinating to the present (https://gabaiunitfra.wixsite.com/frau). Eduarda Fernandes has a vast supervision experience and holds 200 publications, with 11.620+ citations and a h-index of 50 (Scopus).
