E. Widl

Edmund Widl received an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from TU Wien, Vienna, Austria, in 2004 and 2008 respectively. From 2003 to 2011 he worked for the Institute of High Energy Physics (HEPHY), Vienna, Austria, on several projects for the CMS Collaboration, one of the particle physics experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. In 2011 he joined the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), where he currently works in the research field Power System Digitalization on topics related to cyber-physical energy systems. His research interests center around the digitalization of energy systems (digital twins, data spaces, IoT applications) and the analysis and design of multi-domain energy systems.
