Clifford R. Jack, Jr., M.D., is a professor of Radiology, and the Alexander Family Professor of Alzheimer’s Disease Research at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN. A major research focus is modeling the temporal trajectory of Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers (MRI, tau PET, amyloid PET imaging and biofluids) in relation to clinical symptoms. His research group serves as the central MRI lab for a number of national and international observational and therapeutic studies in Alzheimer’s disease including ADNI. He has received the American Society of Neuroradiology Award for Outstanding Contributions in Research, the Potamkin Prize from the American Academy of Neurology, the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine Gold Medal, the MetLife Award for Medical Research in Alzheimer’s Disease, the RSNA Outstanding Researcher Award, a MERIT award from the NIA and is a member of the Association of American Physicians and the American Academy of Medicine (formerly Institute of Medicine).
