Claus Christiansen

Dr. Christiansen is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA) and has had leadership roles in the International Association for Bayesian Analysis, the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, and the Health Policy Statistics Section of the ASA. Her interests include the development and implementation of multi-level and prediction models for health policy applications. Her methodological research has been used to estimate the number of potential organ donors across Organ Procurement Organization regions, to estimate the number of recipients of Ryan White Care Act program services, and to predict the cumulative risk of false-positive mammograms. Christiansen does extensive advocacy work through the Aviation-Impacted Communities Alliance group that she co-founded.
