Changyu Shen was born in Xiangtan, Hunan, China, in 1977. He received the M.S. degree from Shaanxi Normal University in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree in optics and optical engineering from Zhejiang University in 2009. He is currently a Professor with China Jiliang University. His research interests include tilted fiber Bragg grating sensors, surface plasma resonance fiber optical sensors, hydrogen fiber optical sensors, and electromagnetic testing technique.
