Carla Dias completed her Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Sciences in 2018 at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned a Master's degree in Clinical Laboratory Biology in 2009 and a Bachelor's degree in Biology in 2008, both from University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. Carla has authored 24 articles in specialized journals and contributed to 1 book chapter. She has also organized 2 events and co-supervised 1 master's dissertation. She participated as a researcher in 3 projects. Her research interests primarily focus on Molecular Biology, Food Science & Technology and Microbiology.
