C. Fernandez Bedoya

Dra. Cristina F. Bedoya is permanent researcher (Científico Titular) at CIEMAT with more than twenty years of experience in electronic instrumentation and detectors for particle physics experiments. She has been leading the instrumentation research line for the CMS upgrades since 2014, being PI of the various national research projects. She has wide managerial experience holding several responsibility positions in the CMS experiment, highlighting the lead of the CMS Muon Drift Tubes detector international collaboration for many years. She has been PI of a proof of concept project, has co-authored >1000 publications in international collaborations, presented in 15 conferences, mentored multiple physicists, engineers and students and has received two prizes from the CMS collaboration.
