Experimental Particle Physicist - University Teacher - Science Educator 10+ years experience in mainly collider physics (ATLAS at CERN) on both data analysis and detector upgrade. Very worried about climate departure and biodiversity collapse. Gap year 2022-2023: - Taught "Machine Learning in Particle Physics" at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) offices in Senegal, South Africa and Ghana. - Gave colloquia at AIMS Cameroon, AIMS Rwanda, Benin (CIPMA), Togo (CERME) and Congo (University Kinshasa and Kongo). New interests: fast-ML, how to live sustainably on this planet, ethics of AI, education in Africa.
