Medical Doctor, Neurologist. 1990-2009: Head of Research at the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS), Roma, heading clinical research in HIV/AIDS and later on EVs and novel cancer biomarkers. 2009-2010: Scientific Direstor at ARISLA, Milano, a private foundation funding research on ALS. 2009-now: Founder and CEO of Exosomics SpA group, a group of companies (including HansaBioMed Life Science and Longevity Bioscience) with a strong expertise in EV/Exosomes and engaged in several markets within the EV field (diagnostics, basic science, cosmetics).
