Prof. (HP) Dr. Almira Ramanaviciene is head of NanoTechnas-Center of Nanotechnology and Materials Science at the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences of Vilnius University, and head of Biosensor research groups at the State Research Institute Centre for Innovative Medicine, Department of Immunology, Lithuania. She defended her PhD thesis in biomedicine in 2002 at the Institute of Immunology and Vilnius University. In 2008 she completed her habilitation procedure in Physical Sciences at Vilnius University. She has comprehensive experience in the field of biosensors and immunosensor development focusing on nanostructures, and different surface modification techniques, biofunctionalization methods, and various analyte detection options. Prof. dr. Almira Ramanaviciene is an expert on international and national foundations. She has published more than 200 publications in Clarivate Analytics WoS referred journal (h index 47).
