My primary research interests include synthesis, characterization
and application of nanostructured materials (TiO2, PbSe, CdSe, ZnSe, ZnO, MoS2, WS2, LDHs, and MOFs) for catalytic removal of organic compounds from wastewater. I am working on Advanced Oxidation Processes
(AOPs) including sonocatalytic & photocatalytic processes, UV/H2O2, Fenton, Photo-Fenton, Electro-Fenton,
Peroxicoagulation and Electrocoagulation processes, and also modeling and optimization of
AOPs using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Response Surface Methodology (RSM).
